It was a weekend filled with trying to make money and following sports at the same time.
I have recently been hired at an advertising company, so my days of a perky waitress/beach bum are now over. Now its more like holy shit when am I ever going to have a day off.... as of now it seems that day will be next Sunday.
I went to the topsfield fair for the first time this weekend. And if you love to people watch, it is an eye opening experience. And the scene is constantly changing - as if by the hour its a new crew. But in the long run - it was a great time, with lots of interesting food and the best part was watching little pigs race each other then jump in pools and swim. It was mainly hick town USA amusement but needless to say a good break from the norm.
Other than that waiting tables and talking about the Red Sox and Yankees filled the rest of my 3 day work filled weekend.
Its finally starting to feel like fall. I truely love having 4 seasons, now with the new crisp feeling in the air and the smell of wood burning fire places, gives you the nostaglic feeling of yesteryear.
I also was inspried by someone this weekend, sometimes good conversation can really open your eyes. It almost seems as if I have missed geniune conversation with real people just about life really. Funny what can get the gears turning ....
